When you’re dancing with your partner, all the doubts and anxieties about whether or not they like you disappear.
You can be yourself and forget everything else for that moment.
Dancing is also a great form of exercise because it’s so rhythmic! It gets the blood pumping which boosts vitality and energy levels. It builds muscle tone in joints as well: hips, knees, ankles, elbows. all those places where we need some strengthening to avoid injury on our long run adventures! Plus there are plenty of styles to choose from when it comes to dance workouts – salsa classes are fun but my favorite would have to be swing lessons 🙂
