Remember when we were younger and all our favorite movies seemed so cool?

Remember the first time you saw ET or The Wizard of Oz, or any other movie for that matter. And now it’s been a while since you watched one (or more) of them again. Time to revisit your childhood with these nostalgic moments from some great old school films!

The way Dorothy sings in Kansas before she enters Munchkinland is incredible I love that song everytime they play it on Broadway! – What about when Steve Martin removes the arrow from his back after he realizes “it was just a dream” in All Of Me? That scene always make me laugh ~ haha – Did anyone else sob like crazy during James’ death scene in Titanic? I still cry about it to this day.

That scene always make me laugh. *The scene where Dumbo’s mom dies and we see her little bluebird friends fly around the open door to mourn for their friend is so touching.

I still get a little choked up every time!

Ikey McCallister when he gets home after being on his own in New York City? That was one of my favorite parts of Home Alone. (It also makes me want to go buy some ice cream!)

Remember when Belle first enters Beast’s castle, it feels like you’re actually there with her?! And she smells that rose bush outside; what an incredible moment! And who could forget about Maximus’ death from Gladiator: they cut off his head while he’s telling Commodus “You can’t kill me. I’m part of you!” *Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart’s fight in X-Men, where we find out that Professor Xavier is actually Magneto?

The scene from Hook when Peter Pan came back to save Tinkerbell; he was willing to give up his freedom for a friend! The scenes are all so touching because they remind us what it feels like to be young again. I hope that everyone remembers these movies with the same fondness as I do.

Remember When We Were Younger: Nostalgic Movie Scenes by Lindsey McPherson on September 11, 2017 Remember when we were younger? I bet there are some scenes in classic movies that make you feel nostalgic about times gone by. There’s a lot of great moments throughout these films but here are my favorites (in no particular order). The scene where Peter Pan came back for Tinkerbell was really touching because he was willing to give up his freedom just so she could live; how many people would be selfless enough to do that for someone they cared about?! And then there’s the scene where Dumbo finds out he can fly, and then when his mother forgives him for being different. It was a really tough time in their lives but they overcame it together!

I’m not sure about you but I love these scenes because they always make me feel better or remind me of something from my own life. What are some of your favorite nostalgic movie moments? ~~
