K- Inside these structures, it all starts when NAD+ binds with long chain fatty acid molecules during their conversion by lipoprotein lipase enzymes L- Fatty acids created have various chain lengths and are used in a process that is called Beta-Oxidation M- During this pathway, carbohydrates (sugars) enter the mitochondria to be broken down into acetyl CoA.

L – This FADH₃ then cycles back through glycolysis until it finally enters Krebs Cycle or beta oxidation pathways. N – The result of these processes is an increased use of fat for fuel which leads to decreased levels of blood glucose and fatty acids as well as increased muscle mass from higher aerobic activity rates. O – Cross bridge cycle: when muscles contract they require ATP so the cross bridge cycle starts with myosin binding actin during phosphorylation by ATP P- Myosins bind to the actin to stop them from binding with ATP.
