Get ready for some top gear action with this list of the best episodes from season 4!
The first episode on our list is “Top Gear: Botswana Special” which aired in 2007. This episode was filmed in Botswana and focuses on driving vehicles through difficult terrain. The second episode on our list is “Top Gear: Patagonia Special” which aired in 2006. In this episode, Jeremy Clarkson takes a trip to Argentina to find out what it’s like living at the end of the world.
The third episode on our list is “Top Gear: Australian Special” which aired in 2005. This episode was filmed in Australia and focuses on driving vehicles through difficult terrain, some of the time with a caravan attached to it! The fourth episode on our list is “Top Gear: Car vs Boat Challenge.” In this 2007 special, James May races Jeremy Clarkson across the English Channel while they’re both in cars and boats. This is the second season of Top Gear on DVD and Blu-ray (2007). This series includes a total of 13 episodes with 12 being released in 2007, while the final episode was released at an undisclosed date in 2008 due to its subject matter – it features Jeremy Clarkson’s favorite cars from his childhood that he had either bought or been given by family members. He filmed them before they left for China when manufacturing jobs were outsourced there during The Great Recession which started right around this time frame (2008) so all but one car company made some sort of cameo appearance on the show as well. It’s hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May, and all three have their favorite cars that they share on every episode as well as some other segments such as “The News” segment at the beginning or end of certain shows discussing various car-related news. The show usually consists of two segments per episode with the first segment being a review and description of cars, while the second segment is often centered around some kind of stunt or challenge that typically ends in disaster for one or all three hosts (sometimes even themselves).
The News Segment: This round-up at the beginning and end of each episode discusses various automotive related news including but not limited to new models, sales figures, driverless technology advances, and the annual World Car Awards.
