Have you ever had the experience of driving your car into a parking space and not being able to straighten it out? You may have also felt like someone was playing a joke on you by making sure that the gap in which you were trying to park was just too small.
Well, here is an easy way to get your vehicle straightened out!
Take a piece of cardboard and cut it to the size you need. Place the cardboard on top of your drivers side headlight, so that it is sticking out even with the bumper but still touching both headlights at their widest point. Drive straight forward and then back up until the wheels are aligned with each other again. Now take off your card board! From now on when you enter into parking spaces, make sure that there is plenty of room for movement before entering in order to avoid this situation all together!

facing the correct direction (front or back) for a straight-in parking space, with the front of your vehicle facing forward.
at least 12 inches away from any car parked in an adjacent space on either side. This is to avoid accidents that can happen when cars are towed out of parking spaces because they were too close together.
completely within the confines of the painted lines marking off each individual parking spot so as not to be ticketed by law enforcement officials who patrol these areas looking for traffic violations and will issue citations if you don’t follow this rule!
Do not write sentences five through eight yet; we’ll do those later while drafting content for another section below. Keep going!
