Here’s how to put some pep in your step and get those cheeks rosy again! In this article, we’ll outline the best tips for getting that glowy look back without irritating sensitive skin or putting up with any dryness or irritation – it’s all about finding products tailored specifically for sensitive skin types so they don’t break out from harsh ingredients like alcohols, sulphates, or fragrances.
Below is list of the top eleven strategies:
We’ve summarized them below: (Please write what should go here) Write these sentences now. Each paragraph should be one strategy listed above.
Switch to a gentle cleanser.
Swap your face wash for one that doesn’t have alcohol, sulphates or fragrances in it the best options are products made with natural ingredients and essential oils like tea tree oil, lavender or rosemary.
Avoid overusing exfoliating scrubs too often (or using them at all if you have sensitive skin). Excessive scrubbing can irritate acne prone skin while also revealing some of those hidden impurities.. AKA the dirt masks just got real! We recommend skipping this step altogether though unless you’re sure it’s not going to cause any issues on your end. Instead, focus on skincare routines that will keep pores clear without irritation.
Stick to gentle toners that have water and glycerin as their primary ingredients.
Switch your exfoliating masks for ones with hyaluronic acid, shea or cocoa butter instead. These are natural oils that will moisturize skin while also gently sloughing off dead cells – all of which can contribute to a youthful glow!
Masks made from clay often contain heavy metals like aluminum oxide (which you don’t want). If you’re one who uses these types of products regularly, we recommend looking into the safety of them given this recent data on trace amounts in cosmetics. This is an especially important warning if you live near mining sites because there’s been research done showing how concentrations higher than normal may be found in those living near them.
Steer clear of long exposures to the sun, or wear a good SPF if you must spend some time outside without shade. The US Department of Health and Human Services recommends using an SPF that has at least 15 when outdoors for more than one hour per day. Higher levels offer even better protection against UV rays, with 50 being the recommended limit; but never forget to reapply! We recommend going for a formula that is water resistant so it won’t wash away as quickly as other formulas like zinc oxide which are less effective on wet skin (unless they’re formulated with silicone).
Switch up your diet by adding: microalgae oil – rich in Omega-DHA, Omega-EPA, and other fatty acids; flaxseed oil – rich in Omega-DHA as well; avocados – rich in potassium to help regulate blood pressure.
Consume plenty of water (eight glasses per day) and avoid alcoholic beverages or caffeinated drinks like coffee.

- I used a body scrub before my shower to exfoliate and moisturize skin (beauty)
- I left the house with natural makeup on for work then took it off when I got home so that I was able to relax in peace at night. (less stress!) 🙂
